Washi tape + art journal

Materials: watercolor paper, thread, gesso, paint, washi tape, stickers, rubber stamps, ink, scraps from daily life, paper clip, stapler, gel medium

I wanted to do an art journal that focused on the theme: "You are here". So this art journal is basically me trying to integrate our daily scraps into my feeling of missing Taiwan so much. I've been visiting Saizen and Japan Home Store, trying to reminisce about stores in Taiwan. Haven't visited Muji yet though. (Heard they're opening at Mall of Asia too on October 14.)

Matt's to-buy list of stuff he needed to make a pizza craft he watched on the new Art Attack. Still hasn't built the pizza though because the clay didn't harden as expected.

AR and my favorite haunt since we were dating, Seattle's Best, for what else, milkshakes.

"Let's Fall in Art" from a monthly brochure they distribute for free in Taiwan. Wish we had something like that for Manila. Old neoprint of me and AR when we were still dating.

Oddly enough, Taiwan has been haunting us with Taiwan fashion books at Fullybooked, a fashion spread in a magazine shot on location around the vicinity of Taipei 101, and tonight, watched World Cafe Asia set in, where else, Taipei.
